SLiVeR - “White Cliffs of Nintendover” (Eric Johnson)

I first was introduced to this song (the original Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson) by my uncle when I was visiting the Cape at age 7. We were out in his barn building a model airplane and he blasted it over his big soundsystem, shaking the floor and adding an epic soundtrack to our model glue induced haze. Every time I’ve heard this song since, I’m instantly taken back to that time, and with this 8-bit cover, it feels even more representational of my 7-year-old self.
