Live at Inc.

Matthew and I were lucky enough to get an invite to the Inc. Magazine 30 Under 30 event tonight at the Inc./Fast Company offices at 7 World Trade Center. I’ve been eager to check out that building ever since I first saw it when I moved to NYC, and it was just as cool as expected. I’m jealous of their office space, its more or less exactly what I imagine a future office of OBB looking like (except even cooler). Met a lot of interesting people, most of the 30 honorees were there, and it was a real change from some of what I’ve witnessed in the NYC tech scene (everyone was very approachable, the scene was pretty relaxed, and besides the standard “elevator pitch” intros, most people had interesting stuff to talk about outside of the topic of “the internet”, “mark zuckerberg” or “social graphs”). Good times.

I’m feeling really confident about our vision and projects, we’ve been making killer progress as of late, and I’m excited about getting edopter out to the public (finally!). Things have come a long way since I decided to drop my cushy job for the insane thrillride that is entrepreneurship, but I’m definitely far from regret. I hope more 20-somethings will pass up the job hunt and try to build a piece of their own, any takers?
