Also, I just watched a commercial for our show on MTV right before America’s Best Dance Crew. When I took this job in May, 2005 we were a staff of 7 working out of three tiny offices. We published 3 articles a week and no original video to speak of. 3 1/2 years later we’re a staff of 70, work out of a beautiful office in Union Square, publish dozens of articles a week and make what I consider to be some of the best original video online. And to top it off, I’m watching myself and my best friends on MTV. Even if we get cancelled after an episode, even if everyone hates this show and it’s a black mark on all of our careers from here on out, I can’t describe how excited I am that we at least got a shot. And I couldn’t be happier to have got that shot with such talented, funny people, all of whom I care about deeply (except Jeff). There is nothing as surreal as watching yourself on TV, especially if you grew up wanting nothing more. A sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the show and everyone who will watch it. And now, back to being a sarcastic shithead!
